Merry Christmas sweet friends!
Can you believe it is almost Christmas?! I am so excited! I have a couple of little things left to get but then I am DONE and can focus on fun at home! I am especially looking forward to some kitchen time, making favorite holiday recipes with my boys. I thought I would share my Favorite Christmas Recipe Round Up with you today, in case you wanted to make a few of these too!
Candy:
Some of these candy recipes are some old posts that my sisters and I shared years ago when we had the Sisters Cafe:) Classic and delicious!
Triple Chocolate covered Nuts (the secret is a combination of 3 kinds of chocolate chips–sooo yum!)
Pretzel Rolo Treats (my little boys favorite–we make some gluten free by using GF pretzels)
Almond Roca /English Toffee (my favorite I like to make it with roasted macadamia nuts)
Cookies:
Gingersnaps (dress them up with some white chocolate almond bark and sprinkles)
Eggnog Thumbprints
Grandmas Famous Shortbread with Fondant Frosting
Sugar Bar Cookies or if you want to make classic ones that you roll out and use cookie cutter try these…

Muffins and More:

Christmas Star Bread (step by step directions are included in the recipe)
Bubble Bread (perfect for Christmas Morning–make it the night before and allow it to sit in the fridge and bake in the morning)
Appetizers:
Peanut Butter and Chocolate Cheese Ball
Southern Pimento Cheese –one of my sons requests this every time he comes home. He loves it!
Special Christmas Dishes:
Christmas Eve Egg Nog (this is a tradition that we all look forward to–it is the BEST served in a chilled punchbowl over scoops of vanilla bean ice cream!)
Chicken A La King (Family traditon for generations –served in bread crowns on Christmas Eve for Christ the King!)
Christmas Morning Eggs (a little cream works MAGIC on eggs! My mouth waters just thinking about them–yummm)
