I will making this super easy Oreo peanut butter ice cream pie this Sunday for Fathers Day. Some of my husbands FAVORITE treats are Oreos, peanut butter and ice cream, so this dessert is perfect for him. I love that it could not be easier to make! Honestly, it is not technically a recipe, more of a method that I am sharing! This will come together super quick, which is a good thing because I have a very busy week! I am teaching a class at our church Girls Camp this week (“Adultling 101”) and I am making 100 cinnamon rolls, and packaging them, as a gift for all the men in our church congregation as a little Fathers Day gift this Sunday! A super fun week, but I will be busy, busy! How about you? Do you have a lot going on too? If so this quick and easy Oreo peanut butter ice cream pie will be perfect for you too!
What you need:
Oreo Pie Crust (store-bought or make your own)

PrintEasy Oreo Peanut Butter Ice cream Pie
Description
This is such a simple easy dessert to make that there isn’t really an exact recipe, this is more of a method!
Ingredients
oreo pie crust (store bought or homemade)
peanut butter cup ice cream
vanilla ice cream
approximately 12 Oreos (crushed)
chocolate syrup ( like Hersheys)
natural peanut butter (or heated up regular peanut butter* see notes below)
Instructions
First take both of the chocolate peanut butter and vanilla ice cream cartons out of the freezer to warm up just a little.
Start by filling the bottom of the Oreo crust with scoops of the chocolate peanut butter ice cream and allow to sit for a few minutes until it is soft enough to spread evenly.
Next place scoop the softened vanilla ice cream on top and gently smooth over the chocolate peanut butter ice cream.
After the chocolate and vanilla ice cream is smoothed out sprinkle on the crushed Oreos and press them lightly into the vanilla ice cream.
Carefully cover with plastic wrap (or the plastic lid that comes with store-bought pie crusts) and place back into the freezer.
When ready to serve, remove from freezer and allow to sit at room temperature for a few minutes. This will make it much easier to cut. Another tip is to run your knife under hot water before you cut into the ice cream pie.
To serve, place a slice if ice cream pie on a plate and drizzle with chocolate sauce and peanut butter on top. I like to use all natural peanut butter –it is the perfect consistency to drizzle.
Notes
*To get a runny consistency with regular peanut butter, you can also simply heat up a few spoonfuls in the microwave for about 30 seconds and stir.
