Hello friends!
I hope your Monday is getting off to a good start! Today I am going to share this awesome recipe for Sweet Spicy Jalapeno Spread (also known as Jalapeño Drip Jam) which is the secret ingredient to creating an incredible, gourmet burger at home. According to my family, this is better than any fancy burger joint around! This Sweet and Spicy Jalapeno Spread will take your burger up a serious notch or two!
Other tips I have for a creating an incredible, gourmet burger:
*Season hamburger Pattys with Montreal Seasoning– you put them on the grill and on the other side when you flip them.
*Do not overcook your hamburger patties–this is seriously important! You want them juicy!
*Put the cheese on when they are hot–so it melts nicely (my husband loves blue cheese crumbles–the boys go for sharp cheddar)
* Try arugula for the greens –they have a spicy flavor that is great with with this jalapeño spread!
*Try to get good quality bakery buns–and toast them with a little bit of butter and garlic salt.
My husband and boys absolutely LOVE burgers made this way and swear by the Sweet Spicy Jalapeño Spread! It is so easy to make and you can keep it in your fridge for weeks. Anytime you want o grill up some burgers, you will be prepared! I have also found this spread delicious over cream cheese with some crackers to dip!
This recipe comes from Joanna Gaines new cookbook ‘Magnolia Table‘ which I highly recommend! I got it from a sweet friend, but Amazon sells it for a great price and free shipping if you have Prime. It is a beautiful hard cover cookbook with great recipes and beautiful pictures.
Happy summer grilling y’all!!
